A decision intelligence engine

DRIFT

A shared decision substrate. Humans hold authority. AI consults on demand. Automation acts where resistance is bounded.

Most AI tells you what to decide. DRIFT exposes the decision landscape, empowering the decision maker.

DRIFT does not automate decisions. It makes human decisions more defensible.

Most XAI explains the past. DRIFT illuminates the path forward.

§ 01 The Equation What DRIFT does, in one read

DRIFT is domain agnostic.

Bring your data, your tools, your stakeholders, your constraints. DRIFT builds the resistance landscape underneath. The decision stays with you.

§ 02 In Plain Language What this actually means

What does DRIFT actually do?

Smart people make hard decisions under pressure every day. Air traffic controllers. Mission review boards. Race strategists. Emergency coordinators. When they get it right, no one notices. When they get it wrong, the consequences are sometimes catastrophic.

Most AI products try to give you an answer. You ask a question, the system tells you what to do. That works fine for low-stakes choices. It works very poorly when the person making the call is held accountable for the outcome.

A controller cannot say "the AI told me to clear the runway." A review board cannot say "the AI approved the design." The accountability does not transfer.

DRIFT is built on a different premise. It does not tell you what to decide. It shows you the landscape your decision is sitting on. Where the resistance is. Which paths are still open. How fast they are closing. The decision stays with you. The picture is shared between you and the system.

That shift, from "what should I do?" to "what am I actually choosing between?", is what DRIFT was built for.

§ 03 Architecture Where AI works on the engine

Your stack doesn't change.

DRIFT is infrastructure. Your inputs, your agents, your UI plug in. The engine is the constant.

Integration

DRIFT is a sealed Docker engine. Integrate against ICD-DRIFT-001, the stable public interface contract. Your systems don't change. Our engine doesn't open.

§ 04 Where DRIFT stands Validation status

Same engine, different domains.

Domain agnostic by design. Validation proven, demonstrated, and targeted.

Validated
Mission Review

DRIFT matched a NASA review board's findings at over 80% concordance and surfaced additional issues the team had not yet flagged.

Under demonstration
Autonomous Systems

Multi-agent swarm prototype with mesh coordination caught reasoning failures a single agent would have missed.

ATC Federation

Hierarchical federation architecture for ATC modernization. Local facilities operate independently while qualified observations propagate across the network.

Enterprise Decision Support

Concentric-ring portfolio view with Decision Closure Curve tracking option viability over time.

Targeted for validation
Emergency Management  ·  Climate Adaptation  ·  Litigation Support  ·  Regulatory & Policy

§ 05 Shared Decision Substrate Depth proof

Shared Decision Substrate

Where humans and AI work safety-critical decisions together, neither replacing the other.

The Proof Domain

Air traffic control. The Secretary of Transportation has committed $12.5 billion to modernization with AI as a stated component, and his framing is exact: AI tools, but AI does not make decisions. That is the framing DRIFT was built for.

The Landscape

Resistance, freedom, and hardening rendered as structured representation. Weather, fuel, coordination, rules, equipment — the pressures controllers carry in their heads today, externalized into a working surface that both humans and AI agents read.

The Human

Holds full decision authority. Signs the clearance. Carries the consequence. Brings judgment, experience, and accountability that does not transfer to a machine.

The Agent

Reads the same landscape. Provides a consistent analytical floor that does not change with who is at the console, how many hours into the shift, how busy the day has been. Surfaces blind spots. Answers questions on demand. Never recommends actions.

What It Makes Possible

What was invisible becomes visible. Stakeholder divergences that today stay hidden in voice coordination surface automatically. System-level patterns that no individual facility can see become detectable across the network. The cognitive context of every operational moment is captured as ground truth, not reconstructed after the fact.

What It Is Not

Not a prediction engine. Not a recommendation system. Not a surveillance tool. DRIFT does not generate controller performance metrics — this is a public commitment, not an aspiration. The pitch to the workforce is offensive, not defensive: AI as a colleague at every position, not a replacement for any of them.

§ 06 Ask Contact

The landscape made visible, the decision stays with you.
